The incommunicado team

Nicole Benisch — Producer/Actress

Nicole Benisch is a New York City based theatre actress and yoga teacher, who’s making her debut as a producer at incommunicado films. Theatre is her passion, but it has been a long time dream of hers to enter film production and couldn't imagine a more fitting project to be associated with than the upcoming comedic web series, pornocracy. In addition to producing the show, Nicole will be playing the female lead, Louise "Lu" Long, and is psyched at the chance to show off her comedic stylings. Favorite theatre roles she’s had include The Young Queen in Becket (Twenty Feet Productions), Shelly in Galaxy Video 1 & 2 (Horse Trade Theatre Group), Young Actress/Pip in Moby Dick Rehearsed (Twenty Feet Productions), which garnered her a rave review in the prestigious New York Times. She assistant directed Becket and aspires to direct a future episode of pornocracy. Other credits include the 2007 short film ‘Manifesto” (Big Apple Film Festival, Flint Film Festival), Nokia Web commercial and print ads for the board game Cranium and Widener University. Nicole studied Theatre at Marymount Manhattan College and Michael Howard Studios with Naomi Thornton, but has learned almost everything she knows about acting from her past five years (and counting!) working with Twenty Feet Productions.

Lynsey Griswold — Producer/Writer

Lynsey Griswold is a New York City based writer with an eye for editing, an interest in sex writing/research, and a penchant for degeneracy. Quite frankly, she can't believe she finally found an outlet for all three of these in one place at incommunicado films! Lynsey is currently applying her off-kilter point of view to a column at McSweeney's Internet Tendency, researching a non-fiction novel about underground sexual proclivities in New York City, occasionally putting out a creative tendril in The Whiskey Dregs, and continues her ongoing contributions to several pornographic publications under various pseudonyms, which she keeps under lock and key. Past publications include journalistic contributions to Troubl magazine, several stories featured in The Whiskey Dregs, and a story included in Memoirs of Meanness, an anthology from Pergola Publishing. Ms. Griswold currently publishes all manner of writings on her blog A Disgrace to the Forces of Evil
